It is a campaign organized by the Delegación de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Valencia (Local Office of Culture of the Valencia City Council) with the aim of best publicizing the service that offers the network of Public Municipal Libraries of our city.

The Bibliobús (Library bus) is a small mobile library, where adults and children can appreciate the advantages and services that the network of Public Municipal Libraries offers in the different neighborhoods of Valencia.

Furthermore of publicizing the libraries, the Bibliobus approaches the reading to the sea, where In these dates a great number of residents and visitors join to enjoy our beaches.

Become a member!

The person who wish to become a member of the Municipal Libraries will be able to get a “precard”, that later will be validated in the closest library to your house. To do this, you will have to give identifying photographs. The user that gets this precard will be able to access to the loan of a book choosing from the latest novelties of the moment. The return of the loaned copy will be carried out in the closest library to your house, either in July, in august in the libraries that remain open or at the beginning of the month of September.

Find out about the summer libraries timetable, which ones are open during august and its cultural planning. At the Bibliobus you will also be able to watch a audiovisual performing of the libraries and you will get informative flyers with the instructions of the location in a map, addresses, telephones and email. You will also have available applications to use the cultural initiative spaces of the libraries, in order that the citizen that have an artistic initiative of any type can have an space to its public representation.
