Catalogue

The catalogue is a basic tool to recover the information and its main functions are to organize the access to the collection and facilitate the location of the funds.

The computerized catalogue can be consulted in the PAOC computer (Public Access Online Catalogue), that it is located in the Reading Rooms of the Libraries available to the users, or through the Internet in the WEB PAOC which address is: http://www.valencia.es/cgi-bin/abwebp.exe/GO

From the PAOC you can make the following operations:

• Look up the collective catalogue from the Local Public Libraries Network.
• Look up the funds of each library integrated in the Local public Libraries Network.
• Look up by type of material.
• Allows to select documents interesting for your searching to make a bibliography.
• When visualizing a document indicates the library in which is, its location and if it is available.
• The reader can access to his/her personal card witha key access.
• Allows you to know which documents have loaned, duration of the loan, sanctions, renew loans.
